1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Eventtive ("the Platform"), operated by InventiveLabs ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Eventtive is an AI-powered event planning, management, and ticketing platform. We provide tools for event creation, ticket sales, attendee management, QR code check-in, marketing, analytics, and AI planning assistance.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Event Organizer Responsibilities

As an event organizer using Eventtive, you agree to:

• Provide accurate event information (dates, venues, descriptions)
• Honor all tickets sold through the platform
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria and your jurisdiction
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for your events
• Not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful events
• Handle attendee data in compliance with NDPR and applicable data protection laws

5. Ticketing & Payments

Ticket sales are processed through third-party payment providers (Paystack, Flutterwave). By selling tickets:

• You authorize us to collect payments on your behalf and remit them after deducting platform fees
• Platform fees vary by subscription plan and are detailed on our Pricing page
• Payouts are processed to your registered bank account within 3-5 business days after event completion
• We reserve the right to hold funds if fraud or policy violations are suspected

6. Refund Policy

Event organizers set their own refund policies for ticket purchases. Platform subscription fees are subject to our 14-day money-back guarantee. After 14 days, subscription fees are non-refundable but you may cancel at any time.

7. AI Features

Our AI-powered features (event planning, content generation, insights) are provided as-is. AI-generated content is for guidance only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated plans, budgets, and recommendations before acting on them.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create on the Platform (event descriptions, images, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it in connection with the Platform's services. We retain all rights to the Platform's software, design, and branding.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Sell counterfeit or fraudulent tickets
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the Platform
• Interfere with the Platform's security or operations
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Upload malicious code or content

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eventtive and InventiveLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Termination does not affect obligations already incurred (e.g., outstanding ticket sales).

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
